The SME e-wallet

Are you self-employed (also in a secondary occupation)? Highway2Freelance’s training courses – the Live Bootcamp and the Flagship Coaching – have been acknowledged by the SME e-wallet system.
With the SME e-wallet, your training is subsidized for 30% by the Flemish Government (previously this was 40%, but changed to 30% since 01/12/2019).

In addition to the fact that training costs are tax deductible in your company, you can also benefit from the Flemish Government’s subsidy through the SME e-wallet.
Excellencio BVBA (the company behind Highway2Freelance), is a registered service provider of the Flemish Government. You can apply for the online subsidies for the various training programs of Highway2Freelance, in the context of the SME e-wallet.
You can find more information about this subsidy on www.kmo-portefeuille.be or at the Flemish Governments free number 1700.
The application is made entirely online.
In order to apply for the subsidy, you must first register and then deposit your own contribution in your (electronic) SME e-wallet.
The Flemish Government supplements this amount with subsidies (30%). Through this SME e-wallet, you can then pay the registered service provider.

Deadline for project application

It is important to apply timely for the subsidy through the SME e-wallet.
This request must be made between the date of registration and at the latest the start date of the training + 14 calendar days.
For example: if the start date of the training is January 15th, then the deadline for subsidy application is January 29th.
After that deadline, your subsidy application will simply be rejected.
